About Our Syrup

Spring Hill Farm Maple Syrup comes from the sugar bush located on the farm, or from other sugar bushes located in the town. Each spring the sap is collected and the syrup is reduced down in our hard-working evaporator to produce Maple Syrup. The different Grades of syrup come from the different amount of time the product spends being reduced down. This gives us the natural sweet flavor of maple with some variety.

Maple Syrup can be used on just about anything, but some of our favorites are...

  • Pancakes
  • Waffles
  • French Toast
  • Fruits
  • Ice Cream

As a natural sweetener, Maple Syrup is delicious in coffee and tea, in baking and as a glaze.

What are the different grades of maple syrup?

Dark with robust taste (previously "dark amber")

A dark amber color with a more pronounced maple flavor, this class will satisfy those consumers who desire the strong flavors of what has been known as "dark amber".

Amber with rich taste (previously "medium amber")

A light amber color and full-bodied flavor, this class of syrup is the product of choice for consumers who desire the classic maple syrup flavor.
